If you’re in the DC area, do yourself a favor and stop by the STAR-TIDES demonstration next week. STAR-TIDES, which I’ve followed for a while, is an excellent project to develop instant-infrastructure. It is the SysAdmin so it is larger than the military and even larger than the government. It deals with the practical implementation of resilience - moving the term from a good bumper-sticker to an actual operational capability. If you want to think differently about what security in the future will look like, then this is a necessary element for you to consider.
